John's of Bleecker Street has been open since 1929. Their pepperoni slice had a very nice char which was even around the whole piza. The crust had good flavor too and reminded me a lot of 2 Amys.

Did you also go to the John's Pizza on 44th between 7th and 8th? It's in an old church and really cool. That's my favorite pizza here in NY.
